How do I disable ARC on an HDMI port that has the feature?

You don't have to disable it yourself, as the projector will disable ARC by itself once the HDMI port is occupied by a source device which doesn't support ARC. However, ARC will remain enabled and audio will pass through to external speakers if the projector is connected to ARC-compatible speakers via HDMI.
