Why is the contrast ratio lower than the claimed value after measurement?

Contrast ratio is calculated by dividing the maximum brightness and minimum blackness (the brightness of the black).

Due to factory calibration procedure, a panel’s white-pointed needs to be adjusted to standard 6500K, but it will reduce the maximum brightness of the particular unit. However, this is normal phenomenon for calibrated monitors in factory.
