Las Vegas, NV (Jan 6, 2005) - BenQ today introduced a new high-performance Joybee USB-flash digital audio player that provides superior audio quality, with 3D audio effects, along with an all-in-one feature set for work and entertainment. Available in 128MB, 256MB and 512MB capacities, the Joybee 220 supports MP3, WMA and WAV formats, and includes an FM radio receiver, color display, voice recorder, portable speakers, karaoke-like synchronization of song lyrics and audio playback. Equipped with BenQ’s Tri-S audio optimization adjustment, users can enjoy quality music with 3D effects that emulates a concert hall setting. The Tri-S optimization includes BenQ’s Bestbass enhancement technology for warmer bass qualities and Artsound technology that will retrieve aural data. Bundled with a portable speaker set for external audio playback, Tri-S optimization also integrates InConcert sonic optimization technology, which gives smaller sized speakers improved depth and dynamics. The Joybee 220 is an ideal combination audio player for work and entertainment. For entertainment, a karaoke-like lyric synchronization with a corresponding song enables users to enjoy and share their music. BenQ’s proprietary QMusic audio wizard leads users, step-by-step, through the process of converting compact discs into MP3 content, then editing a play list. For work, a voice-recording function enables users to capture 500 minutes (128MB model) and up to 2,000 minutes (512MB model) of spoken content. Another key feature of the Joybee 220 is its built-in 65K-color LCD display that enables users to upload BMP images, such as an album cover, to correspond with the song being played. For long-lasting performance, the Joybee 220 comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 11 hours of continuous playback. The battery can be recharged via a USB connection. The Joybee 220 will be available in Q3 2005. |
