|Las Vegas, NV (Jan 6, 2005) - BenQ today introduced two new Joybee USB-flash digital audio players that provide superior audio quality in a compact, stylish design. Both the Joybee 130 and Joybee 210 support MP3, WMA and WAV formats, and include an FM radio tuner and recording capabilities. The Joybee 130 comes in 64MB, 128MB, 256MB and 512MB capacities, while the Joybee 210 has 128MB, 256MB and 512MB capacities.|
The Joybee 130 offers expandable memory up to one gigabyte (1GB) through a secure digital (SD) card, a tiny memory card used for portable storage. An SD card features a high data transfer rate and low battery consumption, both primary considerations for portable devices. It uses flash memory to provide non-volatile storage, which means that a power source is not required to retain stored data. The Joybee 130 can also be powered by one AAA battery, freeing the user from carrying a bulky charger.
The Joybee 210 is an ideal combination audio player for work and entertainment. For work, a voice-recording function enables users to capture 500 minutes (128MB model) and up to 2,000 minutes (512MB model) of spoken content. For entertainment, a karaoke-like lyric synchronization with a corresponding song enables users to enjoy and share their music. The product comes in three stylish colors: baby blue, pink and retro gray.
Both products are now available through BenQ’s authorized distribution channels. The estimated street price for the Joybee 130 is $119.00, and the Joybee 210 is $99.00.
