Featuring a spacious 14-inch widescreen LCD, the Joybook 7000 is the world’s first 14-inch widescreen laptop PC. Sporting a display width equal to that of a 15-inch laptop PC, the Joybook 7000 provides consumers with a viable alternative to 15-inch laptops. Rated at 200 nits of brightness, the Joybook 7000 also offers users a 33 percent brighter viewing experience than other laptops on the market. The Joybook 7000 also comes equipped with an integrated remote control for wireless A/V presentations. In addition, the unit comes equipped with an innovative thermal design that improves heat dissipation and the overall stability of the PC.
The 13-inch widescreen Joybook S52 offers a smaller alternative to the Joybook 7000, but provides the same comfortable viewing experience and a high brightness rating of 200 nits. The Joybook S52 incorporates Intel’s® latest 90mm processor and 915Gm chipset, providing users with exceptional visual quality and improved brightness levels. The unit comes equipped with a built-in SRS Effects speaker and an enlarged ergonomic keyboard design, thereby enhancing audio performance and presenting the user with a comfortable, enjoyable typing experience.
The new 17-inch widescreen Joybook is the ultimate “home media center” laptop PC. Featuring a large 17-inch widescreen LCD, the unit offers a high brightness rating of 400 nits and a 16:10 native WXGA resolution. The unit also includes a unique Ambient Light Sensor function on its LCD panel that enables users to adjust screen brightness levels according to the amount of ambient light in a particular working environment.
The Joybook 7000 is currently available in select European and Asian markets with an estimated street price of $1,800.
