BenQ America Appoints Al Giazzon as New Vice President of Marketing

City of Industry, CA (March 23, 2004) - BenQ America announced the appointment of Al Giazzon as its vice president of Marketing, a newly created position at BenQ. He joins Mark Donnelly, BenQ's vice president of Sales, as the latest of new executive hires for the company. Mr. Giazzon will be reporting to BenQ America president Ralph Tang.

Mr. Giazzon will be responsible for BenQ America's overall marketing and branding activities, as well as the marketing of BenQ's product lines in the U.S.

With more than 15 years of technology marketing and management experience, Mr. Giazzon was most recently the vice president of Marketing at NEC-Mitsubishi Display of America, Inc. There, he was responsible for developing and executing the overall brand and product management strategy for the company. Prior to NEC-Mitsubishi, Mr. Giazzon was the director of Marketing for Gateway Computers, where he led the corporate communications and product marketing efforts.
