Las Vegas, NV (Jan. 8, 2004) - BenQ debuted its new home entertainment products, the DRD510 Wireless Home Media Center and the DRD310 Home-Theater system. These two products have been developed to offer consumers a "media gateway" inside the home for a number of entertainment applications.

The DRD510 Wireless Home Media Center is a DVD+R/RW recorder with a wireless function that allows consumers to use the remote control to play the device in another room. The DRD510 also features progressive scan, a digital comb filter and component output. From watching DVD movies to recording a personalized DVD, the DRD510 offers precise picture technology and wireless broadcasting with full DVD video resolution at 480i.

BenQ's Home Theater system, the DRD310, features a DVD+R/RW recorder and built-in 450W audio amplifier. The system assists in starting a 5.1-channel surround sound effect while playing DVD audio and video. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and offers progressive scan, as well as component output. The DRD310 is LW/MW/FM tuner compatible and is EMC compliant.
