FAQ: What if Enspire software does not connect to the ideaCam?

If you login to Enspire and are unable to select your ideaCam device for recording, try following these steps to get the connection working again.

1. Check that you permitted Enspire to have access to your camera. Enspire cannot access the ideaCam without permission from the user.

2. Check that other apps are not using the ideaCam. 

3. Check the video source in Enspire - ensure ideaCam is selected as the video source. 

4. Ensure ideaCam's USB plug is securely connected directly to your computer. 

5. Update your internet browser to the latest version.

6. Latency or poor connectivity on your network may prevent Enspire from maintaining a stable connection to the ideaCam. 

 

If Enspire still fails to connect to the ideaCam - attempt to connect using a different computer. If Enspire still does not recognize the ideaCam, please contact BenQ customer support.
