FAQ: What if my computer is not connecting to the ideaCam?

If you've plugged ideaCam into your computer's USB port, and the computer fails to detect the ideacam, please try the following steps.


1. Try connecting ideaCam to a different USB port.

 2. Ensure ideaCam is connected to a port on the computer itself, instead of a USB hub or docking station port, for example. 

 3. Identify the type of USB socket you are attempting to use. If ideaCam does not connect to a USB 3.0 port(identified by a blue plastic socket), please try to using a USB 2.0 port instead. 

 4. If ideaCam still fails to connect - attempt to connect it to a different computer. If ideaCam still does not connect, please contact BenQ customer support.
