We suggest calibrating your monitor every two weeks but no later than 1 month to maintain color accuracy.
Hardware calibration is to adjust colors by adjusting color IC settings of the monitor to achieve accurate colors. You can thus get a color-accurate monitor.
To know more about hardware calibration, please refer to this article
Please download BenQ Palette Mater Element (at BenQ.com support page) first to support hardware calibration. Then use a calibrator to do hardware calibration. BenQ Photographer monitor SW series now supports X-rite i1 Display Pro / Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 /i1 Studio, Datacolor Spyder 4 / Spyder 5 / Spyder X, Colormunki Photo
With factory-cablibrated results, you can enjoy your color critical work just out of the box with numerous preset color modes. Still we highly recommed cablibrating your monitor after use for a while.
