When I used the projector with a 4K Bluray player, the message "Your projector is not compatible with 4K." was shown. What can be done to fix it?

Please disable the 3D function of the projector. When the 3D function is enabled, the resolution will be 1080p instead of 4K. This is why the message was shown.
