Acer Communications & Multimedia Europe's Display Business Unit is presenting several new products at this year's CeBIT. They continue Acer's philosophy of providing customers with products that they want. And both the new FP781 and FP581 offer new Acer's developed technology in a high-quality industrial design flat-screen casing. While their new CRT offers even better flicker-free images for greater viewing comfort.
The industrial design of Acer's two new high-end LCD monitors - FP781 and FP581 - clearly sets them in a class of their own when compared to other similar products. The superb design makes them perfect for high-end users that demand a quality image - both on the screen and in the display itself. Both LCD displays feature a newly developed Acer technology: the smart panel. This allows these two new flat-screen monitors to be even slimmer and lighter than ever before. Both monitors offer Auto Calibration to detect automatically the input signal and optimising the image quality. And when a user changes the display mode, the unique Acer i key automatically recalibrates the monitor, adjusting display resolution, scanning frequency, H-position, V-position, and colour temperature.
For complete flexibility, these two new LCD displays have a swivel base, a tilt base, and can also be wall-mounted. In addition, a foldable base is available, allowing you to move your monitor when necessary. Naturally, both monitors offer plug-&-play, built-in speakers, and a Kensington lock. And the power consumption is considerably less than that required by traditional CRT displays, thus generating less heat and increasing user comfort.
All in all, Acer is extremely proud of these two new LCD displays, for they offer the very best in high-end technology in a superbly designed casing. At CeBIT, Acer will also be introducing the FP563 - a new 15" LCD entry model
In the field of CRT displays, Acer now offers the P211, a professional model offering a bigger screen, higher resolution, brighter and more colourful picture, workstation compatibility, and full adjustment features. It has an outstanding high-end 115KHz horizontal frequency and delivers 1920x1440 maximum resolution with 75Hz flicker-free refresh. This makes the P211 the perfect high-end, affordable choice for CAD and CAM applications.
