Why does calibration fail (and results in whitish color) with Palette Master Element after upgrading to MacOS 10.15.4?

Calibration with Palette Master Element needs to be performed when HDR is off, but MacOS 10.15.4 automatically turns on HDR when connecting to HDR-capable displays. Please uncheck High Dynamic Range in Mac Display Settings and try again.
