To support this, BenQ has introduced the Prayer Time feature in X-Sign Broadcast version v2.5.1.0, empowering Islamic educators, students, and institutions to maintain their daily spiritual practices seamlessly on BenQ Boards and BenQ smart projectors.
In many Islam-majority regions, prayer times are central to daily life. However, managing reminders manually across multiple classrooms can be challenging. The new integration embeds daily reminders directly into X-Sign Broadcast, allowing schools to automate and customize notifications that meet their community’s needs while streamlining daily operations for educators and students.

1. Seamless Activation
Enable Prayer Time reminders directly within the Device Control session of X-Sign Broadcast. Once activated, notifications automatically appear on connected BenQ Boards or smart projectors as on-screen messages, prompting classrooms at the correct prayer time. IT administrators can configure and synchronize settings across multiple devices through the central management dashboard, minimizing manual setup for each room.
2. Accurate, Location-Based Setting
Set location-based reminders and select from leading global prayer time calculation methods to ensure accurate schedules for your region.
Supported calculation methods include:
- Muslim World League
- Islamic Society of North America
- Egyptian General Authority of Survey
- Umm al-Qura University, Makkah
- University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi
- Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran
- Shia Ithna Ashari, Leva Research Institute, Qum
3. Customizable Prayer Times and Announcements
Schools can display specific prayer sessions—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—on BenQ Boards or BenQ Smart Projectors according to their schedules.
They can also choose to broadcast real-time messaging or add their own images, text, or audio files to create customized announcements.
This allows institutions to deliver accurate, meaningful, and culturally aligned notifications that best suit their campus environment.
4. Group/ Tag for Prayer Time Notification
Send prayer time notification to devices grouped by grade, floor, or campus, ensuring that every classroom receives the correct prayer-time message simultaneously.
These timely and respectful reminders help schools and institutions maintain a learning environment that acknowledges the importance of spiritual practice.
