The G-Series offers high cost-performance display solutions to business professionals and educators

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, July 18, 2007 – BenQ today broadened its award-winning LCD monitor lineup with the introduction of the new G Series LCD monitors, offering high cost-performance display solutions to business professionals and educators. The G Series offers 10 models (G700, G700A, G900, G900A, G900W, G900WA, G2000W, G2000WA, G2400W, and G2400WA) ranging from traditional 4:3 to 16:10 widescreen. All models feature an ultra-fast 5ms response time, a sweeping 160 degree wide viewing angle, BenQ’s proprietary Senseye+Photo Technology and a super slim bezel design ideal for multiple-display.

Featuring BenQ’s Senseye+Photo Technology, this advanced technology brings support for the industry-standard sRGB color space to BenQ’s LCD monitors, adding a sRGB mode to Senseye’s Standard, Dynamic, Movie, and Photo modes. With the sRGB mode, colors in the photos and video will display consistently on the monitor and all sRGB-compliant peripherals. Along with an ultra-fast 5ms response time, the G Series is able to render flawlessly with no lagging or blurring, making them ideal for applications that require superior display performance.

To deliver enhanced video performance, the higher end model of the G Series - the G2400W also features an HDMI input port and supports full 1080p HD for the best digital video and audio performance. The HDMI allows easy connection of HD enabled equipment such as HD DVD players and the latest gaming consoles.

Designed to minimize environmental impact, all models offered in the G Series are ENERGY STAR® certified which not only results in lower consumption but also saves on electricity costs at the same time. Furthermore, the G2400W are currently the most energy-efficient monitors in the 24-inch display category.
