Taoyuan, Taiwan, January 08, 2004 - BenQ today announced December consolidated revenue for its core business of NT$13.3 billion, a historical record, up 51% YoY and 18% MoM. At the parent company level, BenQ’s December revenue was up 65% YoY and 15% MoM to NT$12.7 billion, hit the historical record.
BenQ 4Q03 consolidated revenue was NT$36.8 billion, up 15 % QoQ. For fiscal year 2003, BenQ consolidated core business revenues rose 15% from 2002 to NT$120.8 billion.
BenQ Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sheaffer Lee, indicated that the order flow in 2004 Q1 is strong and the quarterly revenue might reach another record high.
