The all-new smart board for education features flagship audiovisual performance, ClassroomCare® technology, and advanced teaching tools
SYDNEY, Australia, August 05, 2022 – BenQ, internationally renowned innovator of audiovisual solutions, today announced the BenQ Board Pro RP03, smart board for education, equipped with powerful Dolby Digital Plus™ audio and enhanced ClassroomCare® protection, including germ-resistant surfaces, an air ionizer, and Eyesafe® certified blue light protection. The announcement reaffirms BenQ’s dedication to the education market and today’s need for effective, immersive, and health-conscious learning technology.
“Harnessing our most advanced interactive learning and audiovisual technologies, the new BenQ Board Pro RP03 Series is designed to engage students deeply in immersive learning with the cinematic quality of Dolby Digital Plus audio,” said Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation. “And recognizing the new-normal concerns for safe and healthy learning environments, the RP03 offers the most comprehensive ClassroomCare technologies for students and teachers to embrace innovation without compromising their health.”
Innovative Education Technology
The new BenQ Board Pro’s teaching innovations begin with the most powerful processor utilized in interactive displays, helping teachers deliver smooth and efficient lessons. Complementing the 40-point multi-touch 4K UHD screens, RP03 interactive displays now provide cinematic-quality audio via dual 16W speakers and a 16W subwoofer, enhanced by the latest Dolby Digital Plus surround-sound technology.*
The multi-window mode, another new RP03 feature, lets multiple applications, sources, and operating systems run simultaneously to support hybrid and collaborative education.* Out-of-the-box learning tools including the EZWrite 6 cloud-based whiteboard and the Kahoot! educational gamification app can run side-by-side with video conferencing, web browsers, and any content from an optional OPS slot-in PC or the BenQ InstaShare 2 wireless screen sharing software.
Comprehensive ClassroomCare Technology
Recognized by TÜV Rheinland for 99.9% effectiveness against common pathogens, the new BenQ Board Pro employs nano-ionic silver particles on the touchscreen, front ports, stylus pens, and remote control to protect students and teachers across all points of contact.
RP03 interactive displays for education are also equipped with air quality sensors that monitor carbon dioxide (CO2), formaldehyde (CH2O), volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), and particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) levels in classrooms, automatically releasing negative ions to reduce pollution when levels are exceeded. In conjunction with an OPS slot-in PC, RP03’s sensors can even sync with HVAC and other devices via Azure IoT to maintain clean air for student alertness, comfort, and long-term respiratory health.
Augmenting ClassroomCare’s acclaimed anti-glare, flicker-free, and low blue light technologies, the BenQ Board Pro now utilizes hardware-based blue light mitigation without the artificial yellow tinge associated with software blue light reduction, becoming the world’s first smart board to earn Eyesafe Vision Health Advisory Board’s certification.
Facilitating blended and distance learning, RP03 interactive displays even offer a dedicated camera port and eight-microphone array with echo cancellation and noise reduction, as well as multiple front-panel ports for USB-C, HDMI, touchback, and NFC one-tap access. Educators and administrators will also benefit from BenQ Account Management System (AMS) for quick access to personalized cloud-based teaching materials, X-Sign Broadcast for centralized programming and notifications, Device Management Solution (DMS) to manage multiple remote displays, and automatic background OTA firmware updates.
